Seriously? BP, get it together. ASAP.
5:00pm BP spokeperson Robert Dudley - ”Those figures of 70,000 barrels a day, 100,000 barrels a day, I have seen those. I think they’re very alarming figures,” Robert Dudley, the company’s executive vice president said on last night’s NewsHour. “They’re not based on science, and anything like what we’re seeing...

Rock Band vs. Tech Startups
While I agree with most of this chart, I have some problems with steps #5 and #7. I don’t see a valid reason for a band to sell their rights to their music or sign to a major label (read Steve Albini’s essay “The Problem With Music”). I also don’t think every tech startup has to raise VC money and pray for some type of “liquidity event”. No offense, but...

Brooklyn’s laid-back dining scene

Brooklyn’s Vinegar Hill, hidden away on the East River waterfront by the old navy yard, comprises six blocks of charming 19th-century houses built in the Greek-revival style. Once a busy commercial hub for shipworkers, the neighbourhood today is...
